Thorndike Place – Select Board Meeting September 11th

The proposed Thorndike Place will be on the agenda for the next Select Board meeting scheduled for Monday, September 11th from 7:15-11pm.

The meeting will be conducted in a hybrid format, with both remote and in-person participation options.

If attending in-person, the meeting will be held at:

Select Board Chambers, Town Hall, 730 Massachusetts Avenue, Arlington.

Details regarding Zoom attendance will be posted once they are made available.

We encourage all to attend, preferably in person, to hear from our Select Board members who stand with us and continue to support our cause.

Also, we are tentatively planning a walkabout of the property and neighborhood with the new Town Manager, James Feeney, who began in his new role on August 1st. We will post the details once finalized. You can read more about Mr. Feeney and here.

Lastly, we will once again be participating in Arlington’s Town Day, scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd from 10:30am-4:30pm. Last year’s Town Day proved to be a wonderful opportunity to help educate the community of the proposed project, its location and history. We will be looking for volunteers to help with 1-2 hour shifts during the day and more details will follow. Always a fun event and great way to connect with neighbors, both new and old!
